Print-Ready Artwork

Anything: Adobe Illustrator (AI), Photoshop (PSD), InDesign (INDD), PDF, Figma, Canva exports, JPG, PNG, even a screenshot. The lower the source quality, the more rebuilding needed, but we'll always tell you upfront if a file isn't going to work before we start.

Screens use RGB (red/green/blue light). Printers use CMYK (cyan/magenta/yellow/black ink). Some bright RGB colours (like neon pink or pure cyan) can't be physically printed in CMYK and come out duller. We convert intelligently and adjust so what you see is what you get.

When a printer cuts your job, the cut isn't perfectly accurate: it can drift by 1-2mm. If your design runs to the edge with no bleed, the cut can leave a thin white strip. Adding 3mm of bleed (extra image beyond the trim line) means the cut always falls in printed area.

Same-day for files received before 2pm UK time. Files received in the evening go out the next working day. Need it in 1-2 hours? Mention it when you order. Rush turnaround is +£20.

We'll flag it before starting. Common bigger fixes (rebuilding low-res images, redrawing rasterised logos, recreating layouts) are quoted separately. Most files only need £49 of standard pre-flight work.

Pretty much, but there's always slight variation between screens, ink sets and paper stocks. We supply a CMYK proof PDF that shows what to expect on press. For absolute critical colour matching (Pantone), we can specify exact spot colours.

We don't print directly. We provide the print-ready files. We can recommend trusted UK printers we work with regularly and brief them on your behalf. Or you can send the file to any printer you prefer with full confidence it'll work.

It hasn't happened yet, but if it does we'll fix it free of charge, no questions. The £49 isn't just for the work, it's a guarantee that the file will pass any UK printer's pre-flight check first time.
