Before

An established Essex builder with premium work and no website that looked like it. A homeowner comparing builders had nothing online that showed the difference in quality.

The brief

Look like the calibre of the projects. Explain each service clearly, show the difference between a loft conversion and an extension, answer the questions clients ask on the first call, and give a straightforward “get a quote” route.

What we made

• A premium, image-led WordPress site with six service pages: house extensions, full property renovations, luxury refurbishments, new build homes, project management and bespoke brickwork.
• “What sets us apart”, client-words section and an FAQ block that handles the first-call questions on the page.
• A blog seeded with buyer-stage guides (loft conversion vs extension, what to expect from a full renovation, whether you need an architect for an extension in Essex).
• Coverage, hours and both phone numbers in the header and footer.
• Ongoing hosting and management by us since February 2026.

Result

• Live at harwoodhomesltd.co.uk with a service structure that matches how homeowners search.
• Editorial content in place from launch rather than added later.
• Maintenance, updates and security handled by us monthly.
